Swedish vs Deep Tissue Massage: Which One Should You Choose?
Both Swedish and deep tissue are excellent. The right one depends on what your body actually needs right now — not on which one sounds 'more professional'.
Choose Swedish if your main goal is to relax, sleep better, calm your nervous system or simply switch off after a long week. The pressure is light to medium and the experience is flowing and continuous.
Choose deep tissue if you feel real muscle tension — tight shoulders, a stiff neck, a sore lower back or recovery after training. The pressure is firmer, the work is slower and more focused, and the relief is more 'physical'.
A quick test: close your eyes and ask 'do I need to be calmed or do I need to be unknotted?' That answers the question more accurately than any technical comparison.
